Flower Care Mini Bouquets:
To keep your mini bouquet looking fresh and beautiful, follow these simple care tips.
By following these care tips, your mini bouquet will stay vibrant and beautiful, bringing charm and color to your space for days to come!
1. Trim the Stems
- Before placing your bouquet in water, trim the stems at a 45-degree angle, about 1–2 inches from the bottom. This helps increase the surface area for water absorption, ensuring your flowers stay hydrated longer.
2. Leave the Rubberband On
- Keep the rubber band on the bouquet to maintain its shape and hold the stems together. This helps prevent the arrangement from getting too loose while allowing the flowers to stay fresh.
3. Use Clean, Fresh Water
- Fill a clean vase with fresh, lukewarm water. Change the water everyday to avoid bacteria buildup, which can shorten the lifespan of your flowers. Always use clean water to keep your bouquet looking its best.
4. Change the Water Regularly
- Your flowers will drink a lot of water, so make sure to change it regularly. When changing the water, trim the stems slightly to maintain optimal water absorption.
5. Remove Submerged Foliage
- To prevent bacteria from growing, remove any leaves or parts of the stems that will be submerged in the water. This helps to maintain cleaner water and extend the life of your bouquet.
6. Avoid Direct Sunlight and Heat
- Place your bouquet in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts. Too much heat can cause the petals to wilt and fade faster.
7. Proper Vase Spacing
- Ensure your bouquet has enough room in the vase to allow for proper air circulation. Overcrowding can damage the stems and shorten the life of the flowers.
8. Remove Wilted or Damaged Flowers
- Check your bouquet regularly for any wilted or damaged flowers. Removing them will help the rest of the arrangement stay fresh for longer.
