Our Yellow Tinted Hydrangeas are a stunning, vibrant twist on the classic hydrangea, enhanced with a rich, sunny yellow hue through an innovative intravenous dyeing process. This unique technique infuses the flowers with a warm, golden yellow tone that gradually deepens into softer, buttery shades, creating a radiant, almost luminous effect that catches the light beautifully. The result is a bouquet of lush, full blooms that radiate energy, joy, and elegance, making them an eye-catching centerpiece in any floral arrangement. These yellow-tinted hydrangeas are ideal for a variety of floral designs, from weddings and special events to everyday home decor. Their cheerful, warm hue pairs beautifully with a range of other colors, including soft whites, blush pinks, and light greens, creating harmonious pastel arrangements. They can also make a bold statement when combined with deeper, contrasting hues like rich purples or vibrant oranges. Whether used as a focal point in a bouquet or as a supporting flower in a mixed arrangement, yellow-tinted hydrangeas bring a sense of brightness and optimism to any setting.

Flower Care Hydrangeas:

Hydrangeas are stunning, but they can be a little delicate when cut. To keep your fresh cut hydrangeas looking beautiful for as long as possible, follow these care tips.

By following these simple steps, your fresh cut hydrangeas will stay hydrated and vibrant for longer, allowing you to enjoy their beauty and charm in your space.

1. Trim the Stems

  • Cut at an Angle: Use sharp, clean scissors or a floral knife to trim the stems about 1-2 inches from the bottom at a 45-degree angle. This allows for better water absorption. Make sure to remove any rubber bands or plastic sleeves/paper around the bunches.
  • Underwater Cutting: If possible, cut the stems underwater or immediately place them in water after cutting. This prevents air from entering the stems, which can block water uptake.

2. Hydrate Immediately

  • Place in Fresh Water: After trimming, place your hydrangeas in a vase filled with clean, lukewarm water. Hydrangeas are known for being thirsty flowers, so it's important to give them plenty of water to drink right away.

3. Add Flower Food

  • Add Flower Food: If you have flower food, mix it into the water as instructed. Flower food provides essential nutrients and helps prevent bacterial growth. If you dont have flower food, just plain water will do the trick.

4. Keep the Water Fresh

  • Change the Water Regularly: Every 1-2 days, change the water in your vase. Fresh water keeps the hydrangeas hydrated and prevents bacteria buildup. When you change the water, trim the stems slightly again to ensure they continue absorbing water effectively.
  • NOTE: Hydrangeas are particularly prone to wilting if the water isn’t refreshed regularly. Change the water every day to keep it clean and free from bacteria. If you have dyed hydrangeas, you’ll want to change the water more frequently, as the dye may cause the water to change color. The dye can sometimes leak into the water, so keeping the water clean and clear will help preserve both the flowers and your vase.

5. Keep Out of Direct Sunlight and Heat

  • Avoid Heat Sources: Hydrangeas are sensitive to heat, so place them in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, heat vents, or other sources of warmth. A cool environment helps the flowers stay fresh longer.

6. Prune Dead Blooms

  • Remove Faded Flowers: As the blooms begin to wilt or fade, gently remove them to prevent them from affecting the rest of the bouquet. This helps maintain the overall health and appearance of the remaining flowers.

7. Rehydrate Overnight (Optional)

  • Soak the Stems: If your hydrangeas start to wilt during the day, you can rehydrate them overnight by placing the entire bouquet in a sink or basin of water (up to the bloom, not covering the petals) to help them absorb moisture.

8. Avoid Drafts

  • Keep Away from Drafts: Do not place your hydrangeas near open windows or air conditioning vents, as drafts can cause them to wilt faster.

9. Re-cut the Stems if Needed

  • If the flowers begin to droop or wilt prematurely, re-cut the stems by about 1 inch and place them back into fresh water. This can help improve water absorption and revive the flowers.
